How We Work
You are planning a celebration. Chances are, your hands are pretty full. At The Flying Pig we are here to assist you in bringing the vision of your event to life.
Placing an order:
We will be glad to give you a free, no obligation estimate based on your menu choices and services you require. If you wish to place the order a contract will be sent to you to sign and return with your deposit. We will not reserve a date without a deposit and a signed contract. We always appreciate a call if you decide not to use our services. Our policies allow plenty of time to make adjustments to menus or guest count once an order has been placed, but we do require a deposit to hold the date.

Deposits & Cancellations:
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure all reservations. Once we take your deposit, we may have to decline further business on that date so it is important that you make a firm decision to hire us before placing your deposit. If you cancel your event due to a natural disaster, death in the family, or a truly unavoidable cause you may use your deposit amount towards another event within 1 year of the initial deposit date. If, however, you simply change your mind, you can expect to lose your deposit. If you must cancel, we appreciate as much advance notice as possible.
Gratuity:
Gratuity is included in your initial quote and is based on the charges for your initial services. If your food and service increases your gratuity amount will also increase.
Deadlines:
The deadline for your final guest count and menu changes will depend on the size and type of event and will be defined in your contract. Changes will be accepted after your deadline date only if the guest count increases. If the guest count increases, you will be billed for any additional food and service ordered. Please note that we may be unable to provide last minute servers and/or bartenders. We will not “cut” our staff if your guest count decreases. You will be billed for the minimum service hours of your initial quote. If you are planning a last minute party, we will help you to the best of our ability, but there may be some foods and services that we are unable to provide on short notice.

Delivery & Set Up fees vary and depend on the size & type of event as well as the location.
