Cooking Classes at The Flying Pig
The Flying Pig offers adult and children's cooking classes under the expert guidance of our professional chefs who have extensive cooking experience, but more importantly, a gift for making people smile. Classes are hands-on and focus on proper technique and seasonal ingredients. We offer classes either in our commercial kitchen or in your home.
Corporate Team Building
Programs are designed for groups of 8-10 of your hard working team members. Cooking together with colleagues is the foundation of rich relationships and good times. Your team will experience a hands-on, interactive cooking class.
Girls Night Out
Pick 8-10 of your "best girls" from your Bunco group, book club, stock club, or mommy and me group and we'll design a fun filled themed menu for an unforgettable fun night out.
Holiday Cookie Exchange
Take a break from the holiday rush and share the spirit of the season with old and new friends. Bake and swap.
Kidz Summer Culinary Camp
Teaching your child to cook is one of the best gifts you can give them. The Flying Pig Campers will take a hands-on culinary journey through a variety of exciting cooking classes. They will be instructed on general cooking techniques, safe food handling, equipment safety, knife skills, table service and etiquette. Campers will have the experience of working along side the best chefs in SW Florida and will learn how to read a recipe, prepare delicious, healthy dishes. Classes are week long and are for children ages 8-14. The 2010 summer schedule will be posted in March.
It's My Birthday!
Are you looking for something different for your child's upcoming birthday party? We will plan an age appropriate menu and theme for your child's birthday celebration complete with decorating either cupcakes or mini fondant cakes. Classes can be booked for aspiring chef's aged 7-17.
