March/April ADULT Cooking Classes at The Flying Pig
If the food enthusiast in your life would love to take the next step, to learn some of the "whys" of cooking in addition to the "how-tos," then how about giving them the gift of The Flying Pig Grown UpZ Boot Camp? Participants spend sessions getting a firsthand view of the excitement and camaraderie of the professional kitchen as they stretch their skills with the help of our knowledgeable and friendly Chef Lisa Fidler.
Classes are limited to 10 students and are HANDS ON.

Adult Boot Camp
Due to the success of our winter sessions we are offering Adult Boot Camp again for aspiring chefs of all levels.
Session 1 - Knife Skills
Learn basic knife cuts and prepare recipes that correspond with those cuts.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 5 | 6pm-9pm
Session 2 - Pasta Making
In this session you will learn to make homemade pasta; dessert pasta, sheet pasta and potato pasta along with accompanying sauces.
TUESDAY, May 18 | 6pm-9pm
Session 3 - Braising vs. Roasting
In this class Chef Lisa will instruct on the differences of braising and roasting, and how to get the best flavor from your proteins by using these techniques.
THURSDAY, June 3 | 6pm-9pm
Session 4 - Desserts
Take the fear out of making lovely desserts and be the envy of your friends by learning how to make a simple dessert look like you hired a pastry chef.

Tapas, Small Plates, Big Tastes
Let’s get this party started! Tapas are a hot trend and in this class you will learn how to put together outstanding tapas for your next party.

Cool Foods for Hot Nights
Summers in Florida are HOT, HOT, HOT. In this class Chef Lisa will teach you to prepare some chilled soups and delicious entrée salads for lighter fare during these hot months
